What happens if I delete the Hornet app?

Please don’t delete the Hornet app, you may not be able to reinstall it. While we work to restore availability, download the Hornet Stories app to continue receiving updates, accessing new features, and making purchases.

What are the differences between Hornet and Hornet Stories apps?

Hornet Stories is an official Hornet application that we created for users in Russia while we work through the current App Store restrictions affecting the original Hornet app. We confirm it is safe to install.

You can continue using Hornet normally but you won’t receive updates, access new features, or make purchases. Also, if you delete the Hornet app, you may not be able to reinstall it. While we work to restore availability, please download the Hornet Stories app to continue receiving updates, accessing new features, and making purchases.

Can I make purchases in the Hornet app?

No, purchases are disabled in the Hornet app due to the temporary restrictions. Please download the Hornet Stories app to make new purchases.

What happens to my existing Hornet app subscriptions?

Your existing Hornet subscription will remain active in the Hornet app and Hornet Stories app until it expires. You just need to login to both apps with the same account. However, you won’t be able to renew the current subscriptions or purchase new subscriptions in the Hornet app, only on Hornet Stories. Please download Hornet Stories to make new purchases. If your subscription was originally purchased in the Hornet app, you can still manage it normally.

Can I transfer my Hornet subscription to Hornet Stories?

Unfortunately not. You would need to make a new subscription purchase in Hornet Stories.

Can I restore my subscriptions?

Subscriptions purchased in one app cannot be restored or transferred to another app. This means a subscription purchased in Hornet cannot be restored to a new account in the Hornet Stories app.
