How do I claim a username?

Your Hornet username is the unique identifier that appears after the @ symbol on your profile. It’s how others can search for you and recognize your account. Your username appears on your profile page, at the top center of the screen.

When you create a new account, Hornet assigns a default username automatically. This default username is usually a combination of letters and numbers. You can change this to a personalized username that represents you.

Your usernames must:

Be unique
Contain 15 characters or less
Not include special characters

To claim your username, follow the steps below.

On the app

Open the Hornet app and go to your Profile.
Tap the Edit Profile button.
Enter your desired username in the Username field.
To confirm, tap Save (on iOS) or the checkmark (on Android) in the upper-right corner.

On the web

Go to hornet.com and log in.
In the upper-right corner, click your profile picture and select My Profile.
Click Edit Profile.
Enter your desired username in the Username field.
Click Save to confirm.
