When you block someone on Hornet, the blocked user won’t be able to contact you, view your profile, or read their chat history with you anymore. You will also not see their profile anywhere in the app. Blocking is private, and the other person will not be notified.
To block someone, please follow these simple steps:
- Open the profile of the user you want to block.
- Tap or click the ⋮ (three-dot) icon in the upper‑right corner.
- On the app, select Block DisplayName (the button will show the person’s display name).
- On the web, select Block and click Yes to confirm.
Note: If the user is abusive, offensive, impersonating someone, underage, or violating our Terms of Service or Usage Guidelines in any other way, we strongly recommend reporting instead of only blocking. Reporting a user will automatically block their profile for you and allow our moderation team to review and take appropriate action.
To report a profile, please follow the instructions here.
