It is true that we show ads on our free version. The simple truth? We need revenue in order to keep running, developing new features, and innovating. That’s why we display ads: so we can get the revenue we need.
On the other hand, we understand how much they can affect the user experience and the size of the responsibility we have in showing you ads. It’s no coincidence that this is the most monitored area of our company, overseen by our leadership on a daily basis, as we try to balance the relationship between revenue and user experience.
We’re constantly looking for data that we can gather to understand our users’ behavior when it comes to ads. This is a very fine line to walk, make no mistake. Everyone has a different threshold as to how many ads are acceptable and, unfortunately, some users do believe that the number of ads we show is too many.
It doesn’t mean that we want to lose you! On the contrary, it was thinking about you that we have developed Premium: by subscribing, you can upgrade your app to a no-ads-at-all version and access other advanced features we offer.
