When someone opens your profile on Hornet, they see your unique username (for example, “@username”), which can be used as a link to share your profile in messaging apps, email, SMS, and with other Hornet members. If you’d prefer your profile link not be shareable, follow the steps below.
Note: Turning off Share My Profile does not hide your profile from the grid. If you want to go invisible on Hornet, please read this article.
On the App
- Open the Hornet app and go to your Profile.
- Tap the ⋯ (three‑dot) icon in the upper‑right corner.
- Tap Settings and then select Privacy.
- Turn Share My Profile off.
On the Web
- Go to hornet.com and log in.
- In the upper right corner, click your profile picture.
- Select My Profile.
- Next to your Display Name, click Edit Profile.
- Under Profile Visibility, uncheck the Share My Profile option to turn it off.
