Andrew Rannells Teaches James Corden About Cock Socks on ‘The Late Late Show’ (Video)

cock sock 3When male actors, like openly gay actor Andrew Rannells, do sex scenes, they don’t always go completely naked (unlike these brave actors who went full frontal). Rannells and many nude male actors opt to wear a “cock sock”, a small sock tied around their junk that hides their manhood from curious eyes and leak-prone cameraphones.

A cock sock, if you’ve never seen one, looks a bit like the image here on the right, except without the neon string since it has to remain unseen by cameras to maintain the illusion of full nudity.

Anyway, Rannells recently revealed to late night talk show host James Corden that he wore a cock sock during a nude scene in Lena Dunham’s HBO’s comedy series Girls. The scene had him going “full Porky Pig” which is another way of saying in a shirt naked from the waist down (like Porky Pig and Donald Duck do).

Apparently, you have to put your entire cock and balls into the sock and not just your shaft because, as Rannells asks, “What would be the point of just covering your penis and leaving your balls out?”

Corden responds that he’d be comfortable leaving his balls hanging out because “people don’t judge your balls.” Rannells responds, “I judge balls.” So do we, Rannells, so do we.
