Conservative States Are Poorer, Less Educated, Less Diverse than Liberal States (Duh)

The Conservative States of America

Conservatism: The Ideology of the Economically Left Behind. It has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it? According to new polling data from the Gallup Organization, the United States of America is a nation with an increasingly conservative ideology. This shift is affected by many things, not the least of which is the economic recession brought on by the previous decade of conservative politics in Washington.

Statistically speaking, causing economic harm to the American people is good for the Republican Party. Decreased wealth limits access to higher education, forces a reliance on hourly wages that said conservative politicians actively work to decrease, and a lack of creative and knowledge-based professional opportunities.

Conservative states are poorer.

Sounds great, right? Conservative states are statistically more fervently religious. Organized religions in America encourage conservatism, which again, makes people poorer, less educated, and more prone to rely on guidance from organized religion. Quite the closed circuit.

The Atlantic has a host of other graphs available relating to religion, creative professionals, and the working class as well. The results should come as no surprise to anyone that, you know, has ever so much as met a passionately conservative thinker. The great joke of the last fifty years has been the fact that the conservative Republican Party has robbed its followers blind, pushed them into poverty, and removed their access to education – and that those very same victims have loved the party all the more for this.

It’s actually quite terrifying, especially considering that conservatism is outpacing the growth of liberalism in America. We can all sit around and argue politics until the cows come home, but you can’t argue with the facts here.

I highly recommend reading the entire article at The Atlantic. It’s fascinating.

  • they mind as will over throw the government and be tyrants… (communism much?)

  • Old fashioned oligarchy here we come!!

  • Gus Anderson

The Republinazi is the party of *no*. No clean water to drink, no medical care, no educational opportunities, no jobs, no future, no hope, no human rights.
And before some tool points out that those *liberal* states are bankrupt….I would invite them to realize that several of those *conservative* states are bankrupt as well. So find another lie to justify why conservativism is better.

  • I thought conservatives were the rich ones? No? Okay, then they must be the stupid ones. There, we have both basis covered…stupid and/or evil. Nobody wants to be that. Yes, that’s how we’ll stay in power. Lies, sort of like Gus Anderson’s talking points from the Left.

  • The only States doing well lately are the ones with Republican Governors. You bureaucratic collectivism, or statism, hasn’t worked, Leftist.

  • The Left has increased suffering, cruelty, misery and death. Thanks a lot.
