Who Is Justice League’s Most Fashionable Superhero? We Rank the Actors’ Personal Style

This post is also available in: Spanish

In advance of this weekend’s release of Justice League, it’s time to ask some real questions, like what would an epic superhero blockbuster be without some eye candy? A waste of time, that’s whatAm I right, ladies? I mean, the only reason I saw Thor Ragnarok was in the hopes to catch a glimpse of Chris Hemsworth’s butt, ’cause god knows the script was garbage. And while I didn’t get to see full booty, I was living for his short hair.

But the boys of the upcoming DC Comics superhero flick Justice League aren’t just eye candy. (And can we still call Ben Affleck eye candy? The jury’s still out.) These guys also have a serious fashion sense.

The film’s flashy premiere, held this past Tuesday in Los Angeles, was referred to by GQ as a “Navy Suit Showdown.” All five of the film’s stars wore different variations of a navy suit, some better than the others.

Now, I have to kindly disagree with who GQ considered the winners. Then again, I’m approaching these guys’ fashion as a queer man, whereas GQ‘s writer was female. (That’s why if I had to declare a winner of the evening it would be Henry Cavill’s mustache. He was serving up some serious daddy, and lord knows I have some serious daddy issues.)

So, here you have it.

A (queer man’s) ranking of the most fashionable superhero in Justice League:

6. Ben Affleck

What some would call “classic” I would simply call Boston. I lived in Boston long enough to tell you that Bostonians are some of the worst-dressed men I’ve ever met. Now, while Ben doesn’t look bad, he tends to dress a little boring. Not very high-fashion. He’s also up against some serious fashionistos, so he’s gonna have to step up his game. Sorry, Ben, but you are definitely in last place among your Justice League co-stars.

5. Jason Momoa

If you look at Jason Momoa’s Instagram, you’ll see he’s wearing a bunch of cut-off tanks. While not “fashion” so to speak, hey, he’s playing to his strengths. His arms are the size of footballs. I just want to swing off them and lick them up and down. He knows this. I know this. Everyone knows this. Which is why, while his aesthetic may be described as sometimes-sloppy surfer-chic, I don’t hate it.

4. Ray Fisher

OK, Ray, we see you looking cute as hell in that beanie. No need to flaunt it. Also, that suit looks like it fits you very nicely.

3. Henry Cavill

He’s one of those actors you get really upset to learn is not gay. You feel like you and the gay community have been robbed. All I can say is that my panties are to the damn floor. Who the hell else can rock a white suit like this? If you were to head to Cavill’s Insta, you’d find a mix of snazzy red carpet photo opps, skin-baring workout shots and the occasional at-home or in-the-car selfie. He looks damn good in every. single. one. of. them. And, as you can see below, he’s not scared to rock a hat.

2. Ezra Miller

You might’ve guessed that Ezra Miller would take the top of our list, because he’s most definitely high-fashion. Take a look, boys, ’cause this Justice League star is most definitely in the running for most fashionable superhero. Miller’s lewks show that — most important of all — he has fun with his fashion, and he knows he can rock anything from a T-shirt and blazer to a full three-piece suit (with lipstick, no less!) if he wants. And we love a versatile queer guy, what can we say?

1. Gal Gadot

Now, the real winner here — the most fashionable superhero in Justice League — has to be Gal Gadot, pop culture’s latest iteration of the one and only Wonder Woman. Godot consistently serves straight-up goddess whether she’s off or on-screen. Even in simple glasses and a black shirt, she’s stunning. Stunning. STU-NNING.

I’m sorry, are you seeing this? Godot needs to be on the cover of Glamour every single dayAnd she’s rocking those sparkly silver Swarovski YSL boots every woman on the planet is clamoring for. When you’re Wonder Woman, you don’t pine for things — you get them.

Clearly it’s time for the boys of Justice League to step up their fashion game.
