Madonna and Lady Gaga Hang with the LGBTQ Youth of New York’s Ali Forney Center

This past Thanksgiving, the queer youth of Brooklyn’s Ali Forney Center were treated to a special guest in the form of music icon Madonna, adding one more thing to their lists of things to be thankful for. The pop star reportedly stopped by with her son David and daughter Mercy James in tow, and in an Instagram post she praised the Center:

Had so much fun sharing Thanksgiving at the Ali Forney Center in Brooklyn! This center protects LGBT Youth from the harms of homelessness and empowers them to reclaim their lives. Each year the Ali Forney Center provides care for over 1,200 youth who are rejected by their family due to their LGBT identity. AFC provides these youth with tools they need to become independent and more importantly, AFC provides these youth with the love and support they are denied by their families. Because everyone deserves to be loved and everyone deserves a home.

The Queen of Pop last made headlines when she performed a free concert in New York’s Washington Square Park before election day in support of Hillary Clinton. Before that, back in October, Madge opened for Amy Schumer and promised the audience she’d dole out blow jobs if people voted for Clinton.

“If you vote for Hillary Clinton, I will give you a blow job, OK? You know I’m good. I’m good. I’m not a douche, and I’m not a tool. I take my time. I have a lot of eye contact. Yeah, and I do swallow,” she said.

Then, the next day, Lady Gaga stopped by as well.

Gaga reportedly performed “Million Reasons,” a single from her latest album, Joanne, and led the group of queer youth in meditation. She also spoke to them about the importance of helping others, saying “It lowers our blood pressure to be kind to one another.” Watch her performance below:
