Are you a 10 who’s visually assaulted by the sight of ugly people at your local bar or clubs? Worry no longer! Greg Hodge, the managing director of BeautifulPeople.com, a dating website exclusively for “beautiful people”, is giving his community of hotties a place to drink and find love connections. The club is set to open February 2017 in West Hollywood and promises to be filled exclusively with attractive people. Anyone regarded as less than will be
beheaded at the door and their heads will be on display as wall art inside of the club turned away at the door.
If you’re not a member of the already hypercritical dating website, no worries – you’ll still get a chance to have your looks scrutinized to no end by a “panel of Hollywood insiders” (whatever that means), celebrity trainers and models who will determine your fate.
“We will take the same ethos into this project as we did when we launched the dating site. We are simply taking the BeautifulPeople.com concept into the real world,” Hodges told CBS Los Angeles. In the land of frosted tips and all that is silicone, this concept of admitting club-goers and bar hoppers based solely on physical appearance isn’t new — Los Angeles is notorious for its superficial nightlife.
“Beautiful people” are given special treatment from bouncers and bartenders no matter what, so what’s the point in having a club like Hodges’? If I had to guess, everyone at the last conference for attractive people agreed on preferring clubs that only allowed access to other attractive people (eyeroll). The only question really left about Hodges’s club is whether it will accept super hot gay, lesbian and transgender people (and whether the rest of us uglies can look on through the windows).
