Jose Luis Sin Censura needs to be censored

NSFW: Homophobia, Violence Sparks Outcry Over Spanish TV Show

Jose Luis Sin Censura is in agua caliente, after repeatedly and egregiously violating FCC rules with the contents of its show. Airing nationally in 37 markets, and produced by Burbank-based Liberman Broadcasting, Jose Luis makes Jerry Springer look like a Boy Scout.

This stuff is truly shocking, and we cannot believe that this show is allowed to air nationally in the US.  The show airs during the day, and is rated (by the producers, no less) TV-14 – even though there is extreme violence, full-on nudity and anti-gay slurs in every single episode.

Beware, NSFW and disgusting:

GLAAD, alongside the National Hispanic Media Coalition, filed a complaint with the FCC on February 28, 2011, and still nothing has happened. In fact, the show has gotten worse, showing men beating their husbands and audience members becoming even more agitated and hateful.

Join us in signing the GLAAD petition about this hateful show, and share the link with your networks: https://www.glaad.org/jlsc

If you happen to catch Jose Luis on TV and hear homophobic slurs used, send a message to the FCC and let them know!

  • it’s a cheap jerry springer rip off anyways.

  • It’s not a Spanish show. I didn’t hear anyone from Spain on it. It’s a US Spanish-language show, and to be quite specific, it’s primarily a Mexican-American show (judging by the accents and Mexican slang).

Unfortunately, this show is the worst example of Spanish-language TV in the US. Many shows are tacky, use scantily-clad women, yelling, screaming, loud music, etc. – stuff we couldn’t imagine seeing in “mainstream” TV programming – but this is truly disgusting.

Please know that this show, and Spanish-language TV in the US in general, do not represent the cultures or values of many Spanish-speaking countries like Spain, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, etc.

  • these type of shows that exploits peoples live, and faking anything are the cheap things in America that makes other nations think things about us – is what I believe. All shows that exploit is crap. I stopped watching television because the shows these day in age (specifically this decade) is all S*** – and no I mean ALL shows, even the children shows (and for awhile now).

What happened to Magic School Bus? Yes it’s on replay, but that series needs to continue if it can, it is great and I learned many things back in my young age. Watched a few episodes of Sponge Bob and thought, “This is the crap children, AMERICAN children, watch these days?”

So all in all Sponge Bob and shows like Jerry S. is… one of the same kind. Please, if you know children watching Sponge Bob, pull the plug on that Cartoon Network Channel.

  • God, how slimy. Jerry Springer on meth and steroids.
