Rick Twombley and Griff King are two “newlywed (and often nude) nerds from Atlanta” who post oodles of nude photographs on their Instagram. Mostly their pics are thirst-inducing photos of them cuddling, working out, flexing, showing their butts and generally being cute.
However, they’ve recently posted a series of pics that shows both of them posed as the face cards of classic playing cards: Y’know, the Jack, Queen and King. They’ve even thrown in the Ace and Jokers for fun.
The design of the cards is mesmerizing. That should be unsurprising really, considering that Griff is a professional designer and illustrator. But they’re also sexy and playful.
The Ace card, for instance, shows King’s head suggestively hovering over Twombley’s crotch. The Queen card, comparatively features both men wearing larger-than-life red wigs, a hint of red lipstick and red bands on their feet and thighs.
Here are Twombley and King’s nude playing cards:
Two of a kind
A crazy couple of queens
We wonder if the mattress is a king….
Nothing beats an ace!
Jokers are wild!
Gay Instgrammer couples using sexiness to sell their brands
Twombley and King represent a continuing and ever-growing trend of hunky gay Instagrammers using the photo-sharing platform to help raise their public profiles and personal brands.
While they’re using their Instagram account primarily as a way to show their bodies and share their adventures, other couples — like Dave and AJ of monkey_bizness — have used their Instagram fame to market Garçon Model’s Elite Sport summer collection.
Similarly, Iraqi-American twins Michael and Zach Zakar have used their platform to help promote their YouTube show and upcoming memoir.
