Sweden sex break

This Swedish Town Wants to Give Workers a Paid Sex Break

Sweden sounds like a great place to live. They have a low murder rate, their chefs are hilarious and now they might get paid time off from work to bone once a week.

Per-Erik Muskos, a councilman from Overtornea, introduced a proposal this week to subsidize a weekly hour-long paid sex break for the town’s employees.

Muskos, quoted in the New York Times, said, “Sex is a great form of exercise and has documented positive effects on well-being.” The councilman also hopes the move will encourage procreation.

The proposal will be voted on in the spring.
