With everyone picking up new hobbies over quarantine, embroidery in particular has really taken off. Embroidery art has a long and rich history dating back to 30,000 B.C. China, and spanning the Viking Age and Medieval Islamic world. The embroidery of today, of course, looks a lot different. Inexpensive materials and easily accessible tutorials on sites like YouTube have made it a fun, therapeutic and oftentimes lucrative hobby for anyone looking to give it a try.
