Hornet Version 7 is here! Announced today, the world’s gay social network, Hornet, where over 30 million men currently share their lives and connect with the community, has just become the latest gay video app on the market.
You are now able to create and post gay video content in the app as short video stories — vertical videos up to 30 seconds long. They appear at the top of the feed, and other users can view, like, comment on and award them.
Upload your gay video content from your phone’s gallery, or record your video in real-time inside Hornet. You are in full control of your videos’ audience as well. Videos can be shared privately, which means only users with access to your private album will see the video; only to your followers, for those users who have earned a Hornet Badge; or to all Hornet users, which is currently only available to members of the Featured Guys program.
You are also able to turn comments on your video stories on or off.
Last month Hornet announced the new virtual in-app currency Honey, which allows you to give awards to your favorite posts in the feed. You can start awarding the video content you enjoy from other guys, and receive awards on your own gay video content, and even make some cash! (Read more about awards, Hornet Points, and what those Hornet Points can be redeemed for here.)
So what kind of gay video content will you be creating on Hornet? Home workout tips? Cooking demos? Lip sync vids? Dance challenges? Funny musings on gay life? Video on Hornet will be embracing the full spectrum of gay life around the world.
