You’ll Lust After the Male Version of Tomb Raider’s Lara Croft

Female video game characters — like Lara Croft from Tomb Raider (not to be confused with Cara Loft from Womb Raider), for instance — often get depicted as vampy skanks. (Just being honest.) So in the name of full gender equality, it’s only fair that male characters get the same inhumane treatment, right? Enter the male Tomb Raider.
The creation of German artist Ulysses0302 (aka Raffael), this guy got the memo. His gender-swapped, tomb raiding hero Nathan Thomas is just as scantily clad as Lara — minus her barely there halter top — and we can’t stop staring. What a piece of work.
Check out some of our favorite pieces of art by Ulysses0302 depicting his male Tomb Raider:
Perils of Exploration
Dirty Boy
Temple of Khaamon
Yes, objectification is problematic, and male Tomb Raider Nathan has the exact kind of generic, chiseled body that bores-slash-irritates us, but allow us to be shallow for just a second.

If Square Enix, the company that releases Tomb Raider, ever had the gall to give Lara a male counterpart, we’d play with him (and ourselves, most likely) for hours.
Nate’s Predicament
No Problem With Heights
Dirty Business
Waterfalls
Alas, the mainstream video game market has yet to truly pander to the horny gay male market, so until that day comes, male Tomb Raider Nathan Thomas will just have to continue raiding our dreams.
