Posh Spice Says Yes, the Spice Girls Are Reuniting, But No, That Doesn’t Include a Tour

As we reported earlier this month, the Spice Girls are reuniting. Unfortunately, Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham told Vogue a new Spice Girls tour is not happening.

Beckham told Vogue, “I’m not going on tour. The girls aren’t going on tour.” This probably won’t surprise anyone. After all, Beckham has long been the hold-out in previous reunion attempts. Last year, Beckham dismissed a reunion tour, saying “It is not happening. At some point you’ve gotta know when it’s time to say, ‘That was great.’”

(However, in last year’s almost-reunion, Mel “Scary Spice” B was the hold-out. That sait, it wasn’t likely out of any drama; Mel B had just lost her father.)

In fact, Beckham didn’t have much to say about what the Spice Girls tour-less reunion would look like. She told Vogue:

[The reunion is] a positive thing. You know, there’s so much bad stuff going on, and the Spice Girls were about fun and celebrating individuality. I think there’s so much that the brand can do, and it’s such a positive message for young kids. What does that look like in the future? It’s not me in a catsuit.
